Borculo 2025: A Great Success!

Saturday morning, as breeders and hopeful bidders arrived at De Radstake and passed the historic statue of Amor, a visceral excitement was felt. Borculo's Foal Auction had come home!

The VIP tent was sold out, all the stands were filled, and the clouds parted for a perfect day. The first two horses selling for Euro 12,000 and Euro 40,000, both to the United States, created a clear precedent; this was an international event, and living up to it's name, "elite."

And how appropriate that the highest selling colt #43 was bred by Dr Jan Greve, a true pillar in the Dutch sport-horse history. As both a world-class veterinarian and a world-class breeder of both jumpers and dressage horses, who better to have such a wonderful success in his retirement years.
